Legacy Giving: How naming LGBTQ+ non-profits as beneficiaries can facilitate justice and social change
There is currently around $160 trillion in wealth in the U.S.—this includes retirement assets, property, cash, bonds, and stocks. Learn how naming LGBTQ+ non-profits and other organizations working for justice as beneficiaries on assets you have can positively impact our world for decades to come. According to Funders for LGBTQ Issues, only 0.25% of total institutional giving goes to organizations led by and for our communities. Individual choices we make can help change this disparity.
This event is the third in the Quatrefoil Programming Event Series called Investing in Us. This event is free and open to the public, with information that will be relevant to anyone regardless of age or income.
