Quatrefoil Library serves as the meeting space for a number of clubs and groups. Clubs with regular meetings at Quatrefoil Library are listed below, and additional meetings for others can be found on the Events page. If you’re looking to start a club or have an existing club you’d like listed or updated, please contact us.
Game Night
We host Game Night in the Quatrefoil Library Community Room from 6:30-9:30 PM on the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

Quatrefoil Committees

Book Clubs
We host several book clubs that meet regularly. See details below:
BiblioFemmes Book Club
BiblioFemmes is a group of queer femmes who love books that meet at the Library on the fourth Thursday of every month at 7 PM. See our calendar for more information.
Lesbian Fiction Book Club
This book club meets virtually at 7 PM on the third Wednesday of each month. See our calendar for upcoming events & book selections.
Moon Palace Queer Book Club
The Moon Palace Queer Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month, from 7-8 PM. For more details, visit their events calendar.
North Country Gaylaxians Book Club
The Twin Cities chapter of the Gaylactic Network, an organization for the GLBT fan community, whether it be science fiction, fantasy, horror, comics, or gaming. They meet the second Tuesday of the month at 7 PM on Zoom. Info on events can be found on their Facebook page.
Prime Timers Book Club
This monthly book club is a subgroup of the Twin Cities Prime Timers Club, which is affiliated with the state and national organizations. It meets each third Saturday of the month at Quatrefoil from 1:15–3:15 PM.
Radical Queer Tarot Reading Group
Radical Queer Tarot Reading Group meets on the second Saturday of each month at 12 PM. Contact radicalqueertarotreadinggroup@gmail.com for more information.
Transgender Book Club
Our transgender book club meets on the fourth Sunday of every month, from 1-2 PM. For more details & upcoming books to be discussed, visit our calendar.
Other Groups
Library Patron’s Union Meeting
The Library Patrons Union is an explicitly leftist, community-run union of Hennepin County Library patrons, organizing for more just public libraries at the Library on the second Thursday of every month at 7 PM. Email librarypatronsunion@gmail.com with questions.
Prime Timers
Prime Timers is a group of individuals in the “prime” of their life. This group meets at the library for book discussions and dominoes. For more information and upcoming events, see their website.
Queer Threads
A bimonthly intergenerational craft night for LGBTQ people of all genders that meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Library. Details can be found on their Instagram page.
Rainbow Reads
A biweekly Queer reading party (not a book club) that meets in the Library on the first Sunday of every month at 11 AM. This group allows people to share what they have been reading and interested in, rather than discuss one book everyone has read.
Twin Cities Aroace Solidarity Group
Twin Cities Aroace Solidarity group is a joyful, embracing 21+ creative community for progressive aroace-spec (aromantic and/or asexual spectrum) and queer allies to share mutual aid and friendship; creative/artistic exchange; and learning, peer education & guidance across gender, age, income level, ethnicity & other lines of social difference. They gather at Quatrefoil on the first Sunday of every month at 1:30 PM to socialize and discuss queer media.
