The Young Adult Fiction book club is open to anyone age 18 and older, who loves reading young adult GLBTQ fiction (coming out novels but also those describing the world of teen and young adult realities). YA Fiction fills an important niche in LGBTQ literature in its description of diverse identities, the challenges of coming out, and often provides memorable and charismatic narrators for the journey of becoming oneself. Did you know that 55% of the readers of YA fiction are adults? The themes of this genre speak to many of us.

Starting May 2018, this group will meet on the third Sunday morning of the month from 10:00am-noon at Quatrefoil Library.
Each month, the group will pick the next month’s book.

For May, we’ll start with Grasshopper Jungle and its wonderful sex-positive/gay and bisexual teen protagonists.
