Religious Trauma Support Group

January 2, 2027 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm CST

A Monthly Religious Trauma Support Group Facilitated by an LGBTQIA+ Certified Peer Support Specialist

Are you navigating the aftermath of religious trauma, spiritual abuse, or the painful intersections of faith and identity? You’re not alone.

This peer-led support group offers a safe, affirming space for individuals who have experienced religious trauma—particularly those from LGBTQIA+ communities. Facilitated by a certified peer support specialist with lived experience and specialized training in both religious trauma and LGBTQIA+ issues, this group provides a judgment-free environment to share, heal, and grow.

Together, we explore topics such as:

Reclaiming identity and self-worth
Processing grief, fear, and shame
Deconstructing harmful beliefs
Navigating relationships with family and community
Cultivating new spiritual or secular paths
Whether you’re newly deconstructing or have been on this journey for years, you’re welcome here.

Confidential. Peer-led. Affirming. Healing.
