DESCRIPTION:🎭 Casting Call – Black and Proud: The Musical \nJoin us for open auditions for Black and Proud\, an original musical centering the lives of eight Black LGBTQ+ individuals who find healing\, resistance\, and chosen family at a fictional community center called The Lavender Lounge.\nWe are casting for 8 lead roles and ensemble members\, with a priority on BIPOC and LGBTQ+ performers of all identities and experience levels.\n🎤 What to Prepare:\nA 2-minute monologue\n16 bars of a song (a cappella or backing track) \n📅 Dates:\nFriday\, August 30th – 12:00–3:30 PM\nFriday\, September 6th – 12:00–3:30 PM📍 Quatrefoil Library\, Community Room \n📩 RSVP required.
