DESCRIPTION:Join local organization Queer Voices for three panel discussions that will address issues of craft and wider social issues facing LGBTQIA+ authors at our intersections. Out in the Stacks Panel Series provides space for our writers and the greater public to gather around intersectional topics- from craft to everyday life. https://linktr.ee/queervoicesmn \nThe Queer Home of Craft – a deconstructed creative panel (Hosted by the Queer Voices Team) 9/30 7-9pm. \n\n\nJoin the expanded Queer Voices curatorial team in a deconstructed creative panel that builds community and kicks off our Out In The Stacks panels this Fall. This LGBTQ+ History Month\, Queer Voices wants to explore the ways that Queer creatives in Minnesota make our lives\, our creative work and care for our voices. From 7pm you can snack\, filter through creative stations and aisles of books at Quatrefoil Library before an 8pm Long-Table Conversation hosted by Folasade Adesanya that deconstructs craft\, style\, and their intersections with the intuitive self. This event will be live-streamed for virtual engagement for folks joining at home and from Greater MN. This work is funded in part by MHC with money from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund that was created with the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4\, 2008.
