SUMMARY:LGBT History Book Club
DESCRIPTION:The Quartefoil Library is proud to present our first ever LGBTQ+ history book club! In this LGBTQ+ history book club “Understanding Our Roots” we will be learning about where are ancestors come from and we will be providing a very safe\, welcoming\, affirming\, confidential\, and awesome space for LGBTQ+ identified and or allied folk to come together and learn about the beauty and awe of our ancestor’s journey from topics such as “Ancient Greece and Homosexuality/Bisexuality\, African Disaphora and Transgender Identity\, The Latinx Bisexual Movement\, The Asian Lesbian Movement\, Ethiopia and the LGBTQ+ community\, The Stonewall Riots of 1969\, The AIDS Epidemic\, The Days of Supervisor Harvey Milk\, and much much more you can think of! \n  \nFebruary’s meeting will be a discussion to select a book for the March meeting. \n
